How to make butterfly magnets for your refrigerator from junk mail and magnet advertisements

This guide will show you how to turn junk mail into pretty butterfly magnets.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
Junk mail
Magnet advertisements
Plastic glue
Scissors
Pen
Cardboard

Draw the body and 1 wing on a piece of cardboard.

Cut out the cardboard shape.
Trace the shape on junk mail that has twice the length.

Fold the paper in half and cut out the shape. Cut around the head and tail but do not cut the folded edge.

Fold the body where it meets the wings and press it down.

Open the butterfly and turn it over so that the fold is on the back.

Cut a piece of the magnet advertisement big enough to cover the middle of the butterfly but does not stick out the sides.

Coat the printed side of the magnet with white glue.

Place the printed glued side on the center of the butterfly.

When the glue has dried completely, flip the butterfly over and lift up the folded body section.
You can add decorations if they are drawn or made of light materials.
